Warm Lake Lodge and Resort, located 26 miles east of Cascade, Idaho. It has been in continuous operation since 1911 and is now in the Boise National Forest. Traditionally, it has, and continues to provide a warm and relaxing atmosphere for hunters, fishermen, and recreational vacationers in the heart of Idaho's backcountry. Warm Lake Lodge remains open year round for diversified all season fun.

Rustic cabins, a full service restaurant and lodge, campground, horseshoe pit, volleyball, and group rings provide a variety of activities for the casual tourist, as well as the long-term vacationer.

Camping, boating, swimming, fishing, nearby hotsprings, and hiking bring travelers to the area in the summer, with avid hunting opportunities in the fall. Winter recreation includes many miles of groomed snowmobile trails, cross-country skiing oportunities, ice fishing, and beautiful "post card" scenery.

Wildlife abounds year round, and visitors will likely see some of the moose that live around the lodge. Moose, deer, elk, bear, eagles, and osprey, are among the many common visitors in the area, as well as a wide variety of resident squirrels and chipmunks that love to charm guests into a hand-fed meal.

The Warm Lake area is also the gateway to the back-country. From Warm Lake, it is 36 miles to Yellow Pine, with the road continuing on the the Stibnite/ Thunder Mountain mining area, 34 miles to Deadwood Reservoir, and 72 miles to Stanley. The south fork of the Salmon River bigins approximately 5 miles from the Warm Lake/ Stolle Meadows area, and runs within 3 miles of the lodge, where visitors can take a good look at the seasonal salmon runs. The Warm Lake area offers the best trout and mackinaw fishing. Trophy lakes are nearby. There are several outfitter/ guide businesses in the area that provide horseback riding, hunting & fishing trips, scenic tours, and drop-offs for seasonal back-country trips.
